The Southern California College Volleyball officials Association (SCCVOA) is dedicated to improve and promote the sport of volleyball and volleyball officiating in Southern California.
To achieve its mission, SCCVOA shall endeavor to provide the following services:
- Develop and distribute information on volleyball rules and officiating techniques.
- Develop and distribute materials for training and certifying officials.
- Represent, and advocate for, the interests of volleyball officials.
- Promote and communicate opportunities for volleyball officials.
- Adhere to our parent organization’s (PAVO / NCAA) interpretations regarding rules, mechanics, protocols, and professionalism are concerned.
SCCVOA works to improve each official’s skills so they will be able to advance to attain the highest level of achievement in all national volleyball organizations.
SCCVOA encourages its members to become involved in all aspects of the organization including, but not limited to: teaching, mentoring, and holding office.
